Just received my Grub Hub last week, found it on Ebay. Haven't used it in the field yet, but I set it up and broke it down twice for practice before we take it camping next month. The whole system is very intuitive, well thought out and extremely well built. I got it to use with our pop-up camper, we live in NM and camp in the mountains, so we never cook inside the camper because of bears. After researching all other more traditional folding camp kitchens, I came across the Grub Hub in Backpacker Magazine's annual gear issue. I went to the website, did a little research and was sold on the Grub Hub. It's the most functional, best designed unit on the market. Kudos to the designers, they did a great job creating this piece of gear.

Have not used the product in the field. However, the set up seems very easy. Storage is ample and the working surfaces will be very useful. The only disappointment is the top center surface. The folding section fails to lie flat when folded forward. This provides an uneven and irregular surface for a camp stove. Shimming may be required to keep the stove top flat and even.

After years of using a big tupperware bin as a camp kitchen I finally reached my tipping point at the beginning of the summer. The bin would start out organized but within one meal would be a total frustrating jumble. I was also tired of using my camp stove in the dirt, so I went in search of other options. I stumbled across the grub hub and was intrigued by the fact that it was a table and storage bin all in one.
The grub hub holds all of our camp kitchen supplies other than my cast iron skillet and dutch oven, but I think that would be too much to ask. It sets up easy and takes down even easier, which is good in bear country where you have to store everything in the car. The cooking surface is a great height, I hate bending over to use a stove and the whole thing is so stable! No fear that it will tip over. We camp a lot so this was a good investment for us and it has made cooking in the field so much more enjoyable for me.
The one piece of advice I have before purchasing is to measure your car. I have a Toyota Rav4 and this just fits in the back upright. I guess you could always put it in on its side or something, but I'm glad mine fits standing up so stuff doesn't get jumbled.

I was looking for camp storage solutions when I came across a picture of this product. It looked like an ingenious concept and design. After searching for the name and a website, I finally found it and started researching. After discussing it with the "Boss lady" and talking to the owner over the phone, I made the purchase. With a 30 day guarantee I couldn't help but try it out. I received in a couple days and took it out of the box. I had it set up in less than 5 min and started putting gear in. I was able to fit all of my camp kitchen gear, some personal hygeine items, 3 1lb propane tanks, an axe, a Kukri machete, and I still have plenty of room for more! I see potential for attaching things on the outside, if needed, as well. I broke it down to transport mode in less than 3 min. I will be trying it out this coming weekend and see how it stands up to the test of loading, unloading, and 5 days/4 nights of camping. I will update afterwards.
